As the starting point for our family programs, Building Blocks is a free home visitation program in which trained literacy workers called “Builders” work with families in their homes for at least 20 one-hour sessions. Builders work with parents and children, sharing ideas on how to tap into everyday activities to create a literacy-rich environment in the home.  Building Blocks participants are invited as V.I.P’s to our small group family programs. Parents and children will have opportunity to meet together to build Story Sacks to share within our community.
