The Career and Employment Centre provides assistance to individuals (16+) who are looking to find employment or pursue their educational goals. The staff is here to help you get on the path that is right for you! The Career and Employment Centre offers many different services and resources that are FREE of charge, such as:

·         Individual Career Support
·         Resume Writing
·         Workshops
·         Follow-up Support
·         Resource Library
·         Job Board

The Career and Employment Services are offered to Albertans who are looking for a career change, would like to return to the workforce, are unemployed, under-employed, or having trouble keeping employment. Thse services are made possible through funding provided by Alberta Employment and Immigration and the Government of Canada.

  Career and Education Planning  

The Career & Employment Centre is here to help you find employment or pursue an education. Our staff are here to help you make the career decision that is right for you. Assistance may be given on a one to one basis with a coordinator ir in a workshop format - you choose! All services are FREE of charge and are offered to Albertans who are unemployed, looking for work, wanting to make a career change, trying to re-enter the workforce, or having trouble keeping employment.

Everything you require for your job search is available. We have on-site public access computers with Internet connections as well as photocopy, fax, telephone, and scanning, for you to use.

Stop by the Hanna Learning Centre today to obtain resources, brochures, information and advice on your post-secondary learning options.

Need even more help? Donna at the Hanna Learning Centre can schedule a telephone or videoconference appointment for you with an Red Deer College (RDC) Prospective Student Consultant. They'll answer all of your questions regarding program entrance requirements, course transferablitiy, course pre-requisites, application processes and of course, specifics on programs from RDC and other institutions - including distance learning and eCampus Alberta learning opportunites.
