Individuals who will acquire or be in possession of restricted firearms are required to pass the Canadian Non-Restricted Firearms Safety Training and to pass the Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course exam. Topics covered in this course include firearms safety practices, responsibilities of owners and users and safe storage of these firearms.
